Dictée routine:
- New dictées are prepared in class on MONDAYS. If you miss this day, you need to make sure you copy the missing work or you will not have what you need for the test day. The week’s dictée is on the web, but the answers aren’t. You need to get them from a classmate or your teacher.
- During the week, we do activities, classwork and homework that is linked to the dictée and theme of the week.
- We do the dictée on FRIDAY Mornings. I will give the next week’s dictée on Fridays (to give you the chance to study on the weekend) and will prepare it with students on Monday.
- Dictée Corrections: Every week you are expected to “correct” any errors from the dictée by rewriting out the correct word or spelling 5 times. These corrections can be done over the weekend and will be checked every MONDAY.
